  • The Castle of Melhane
    Within the halls of the castle, the Royal family goes about their lives, but so to do the hundreds of servants and guardsmen, councilmen, advisers and new nobility. There are many chambers and halls within which to whisper and play, plus the secluded and private Hanging Gardens, and the more spacious and public Rose Gardens. Within the halls of the Melhane consulate, counselors and advisors will whisper but it is the voice of the King that is ultimately heard. In the Senate chambers and The Audience Hall is where every man, wealthy or penniless is heard, their concerns addressed and debated. Here, no man, woman or child is greater or less than another, not even the King.

  • North City, Royal Infirmary and Valhalla Hall
    The Northern end of the city houses the tradesmen. Tailors, blacksmiths, potters and such. It is the place to come to acquire services from well educated men and women or if inclined, to learn a trade. The Royal Infirmary opens its doors out onto the streets of North City, the services there free to all citizens. Near the castle Melhane there is a banquet hall within which the King and his family sometimes take their meals and rejoice with their citizens. The Gods of Norse mythology reside in the heaven that is Valhalla. The citizens of Melhane just drink there. All are welcome but only if they wish to spread joy. Politics are strictly forbidden within the walls of this hall. Here also, all men are equal.

  • West Point and The Opulance Theatre
    Every king must command an army, every city house a policing force. West Point is the training center and barracks for the Melhane army and its royal guard. Young recruits are trained and master warriors are honored. There is no higher trained military in all of United Rhye.
    Note: There are holding cells under the Senate Hall, but the real prisons are located here.

    In the aftermath of war, beauty is cherished as much as innocence. Here one can find both. The elegantly conceived gardens behind the theatre are a place to find solace and peace as well as indulgent beauty. The Opulance itself, however, offers just what it claims opulent beauty and decadent indulgence in fantasy, culture, music and dance. It is more than a theatre, it is the essence of artistic vision.

  • Eastern Market, South City and The Way House
    Anything the heart desires can be found in the peddler’s village of the Eastern Market. Finery to simple baubles can be purchased and traded, haggled over and wished for among the shops that line the streets of eastern Melhane. There is rarely anything that cannot be purchased here. The Southern end of Melhane is where many of the peddlers reside. Many of those that work the farms and livestock of Melhane live here; having easy access to the spanning fields and farms that lay south of the city in the more fertile grounds. They are fine people and honest and will offer work to any that seek it. Here too, you will find The Way House, a special facility for those troubled of mind.

  • McDonaghall's Tavern (aka Donnie's)
    Like gathering at the hearth fire for an evening drink and a laugh, the tavern is a second home to many. A good meal, a warm drink, and often a pretty face will greet you at McDonaghall’s (or Donnie's) door. No harsh words are exchanged here, just laughs and a few handshakes.

    Ren Di'Tan - (ren-dee-tan) The 'Enduring Earth', the most beautiful and prosperous Metro-colonized planet of The Central Federation Planets of 'New Eden', also known as "The Core". Only the wealthiest people live here. GRE security is strict, as every luxury from food and medicine to water is abundant here.

    This is for the Capital City only, Ren Di'Tan Skyplex should be posted under The Corp, as it's security is more open and inhabitants less Elite.

  • The Outer-Lying Regions
    The Outer-Lying Regions, or OR, are the inhabitable systems outside of "The Corp". These tend to be colonized planets less plush and prosperous as The Corp planets. While poverty and crime run high, there are good plain folk in these parts too just trying to make a life.

  • Elysian One Central Underground Market
    Elysian One, a Trades Colony between the outer edge of The Corp and the Outer Regions is the closest to "New Eden" most will ever get. Once part of The Central Federation, Elysian One suffered severe damages during the "Reclamation" and was reduced mostly to ruins. Much of what remains of the once beautiful cities, are underground colonies and trading posts. Everything above ground is rugged, desert towns, home to some but no longer the safe haven they once were. Elysian One's Central Market is the underground hive for the Colonial Merchants Guild, a less than legitimate organization specializing in anything that will make money, and everything that can illegitimately pass hands under The Corps nose.

    Elysian One has a large and well-trafficked Skyplex. It is also home to a new but very well known bar called "Jack-a-Lopes" which caters primarily to Jacks, but is a common place for less legitimate business meetings. If posting there, please begin the post title with the Skyplex name, or the bar name.

    Other dangers lay deep into the OR as space widens and a man nears The Edge. Sometimes refered to as the "Black Death" or the "Deep Nothing", The Edge is just that, the furthest outskirts of man's travel into the universe. It is the point at which safe commute between inhabitable planets or stations is no longer assured. The nothing will swallow you if the madness of isolation does not take you first. This is one reason so few trust the only other life form found in the universe, the Ionos-Beryllius. They are ionized beryllium gases. In appearance, no more than ghosts- mist that mimic form and speech, but they can transfer into a host if a human comes in contact with them directly.
